Less waste. Improved customer trust. Greater profits. These are the advantages that your business can reap with an efficient shelf life management using Newton. Featuring an intuitive system dashboard, two interactive buttons, and multi-page e-paper display, Newton is your key to an optimized, data-driven shelf life management process.
Monitoring products with different shelf lives manually can be a very complex task. Newton can simplify the process by allowing real-time tracking and online visibility of inventory shelf life and expiration dates of all products displayed on the shelf. Watch the video.
Powering Newton is our own AIMS software. It has an intuitive dashboard that makes it possible to track expiry dates of perishable goods in your shelves. It can also be integrated into data management systems for a more comprehensive product management process.
Newton’s high-resolution e-paper display can show up to seven pages of information. With this feature, your customers and staff can clearly see the expiration date of your products, and equally important – the discounted price of these products as they near their best before date.
Newton’s two programmable buttons can be configured to notify the inventory system when an item on sale has been sold, or to flip the page of the label to show the expiration list of different products in the shelf.
Flexible and highly adaptable - Newton is designed and built to be implemented in various environments with ease.
Once registered in the system, the LED will flash when the preassigned schedule arrives, allowing you to locate the shelf where the expired product is located. This saves time when attaching a discount label.
Alternatively, staff can also set the ESL to automatically display a discounted price, further saving time.
Assign specific discounts according to how much time is left before a product reaches its expiry date. This enables a more precise and timely discount policy.
A blinking red LED provides a distinct visual alert for expired products, reducing a store’s risk for mistakenly selling expired items. This is part of a long term strategy to help boost customer confidence in the business.
Reducing the amount of rotten food thrown away daily positively impacts the environment and creates a responsible brand image for your company.
Manage prices and expiration dates simultaneously by displaying information for customers, such as price discounts, on the first page and information for employees, such as a list of product expiration dates, on the second page.
With a single click of a button, dates are registered on the system and automatically displayed on the ESL screen. This eliminates the need to manually write the warehousing date and expiration date for products.
